- Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and cook until fork-tender (about 20 minutes).

For the Beef & Vegetable Filling
Ingredients
- 1 Medium (About 1 1/2 Cups) Onion, Chopped
- 1 ½ Cups Mixed Vegetables (Carrots, Corn, Peas)
- 1 ½ Pounds Ground Round Beef
- ½ Cup Beef Broth
- 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Salt, Pepper, And Seasonings Of Choice
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
Instructions
- In a large sauté pan, melt 4 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add onion and cook until tender (6–10 minutes).
- Add carrots early; peas and corn can be added later or after meat is browned.
- Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and desired spices.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, adding broth as needed to prevent drying.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a 9x13 casserole dish, layer beef and vegetable mixture evenly.
